AADriveAds is South Africa's first performance-based in-vehicle advertising network. We install smart tablet screens in the back seats of Uber, Bolt and inDrive vehicles. We connect advertisers with passengers and provide drivers with a passive income stream.

We collect different types of information depending on whether you are an advertiser, a driver or a visitor to our website.

• Your full name
• Your ID number or passport number

• Your phone number
• Your vehicle details including make, model, year and registration number
• Your PrDP licence details
• Your bank account details for payment purposes
• Your home address for tablet installation and collection purposes
• Your active hours and trip activity data collected through our tablet app

• Ad play counts — how many times each advertisement plays

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.

• Advertiser data — kept for the duration of your campaign and up to 3 years after your last transaction for accounting and legal purposes
• Driver data — kept for the duration of your time on our network and up to 3 years after your agreement ends
• Website visitor data — kept for up to 12 months
• Ad play and scan data — kept for up to 5 years as this forms part of our advertiser reporting records

When your data is no longer needed we delete it securely.

6. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers for their own marketing purposes without your consent.

We may share your information with the following parties only where necessary:

• Service providers — companies that help us operate our business such as payment processors, cloud storage providers, app developers and email service providers. These parties are contractually required to keep your information confidential and secure.
• Legal authorities — we may share your information with law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required to do so by law or court order.
• Business transfers — if AADriveAds is acquired by or merges with another company your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this happens.

We do not share driver personal details with advertisers. We do not share advertiser business details with drivers.

7. Location Data

Our tablet application collects GPS location data from devices installed in driver vehicles. This data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To verify that the vehicle is active and on a trip
• To enable location-based advertising — ensuring the right ads play in the right areas
• To provide accurate area reporting to advertisers
• To calculate active hours for driver payments

Location data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. Location data is not used to track drivers outside of their working hours.

8. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data including:

• Encrypted data storage
• Secure HTTPS connections on our website
• Password-protected access to our admin systems
• Limited staff access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
